BTS is a Kpop idol group made up of 7 members.
The album 'Young Forever' is focused on youth, the years of our youth and making memories.
Pastel yellow and pink were chosen to represent the precious and gentle memories of our youth. They are colours that are bright but not too bright to look at, much like how the youth are bright and full of energy. Although as these are growing memories, the colours are not too bright to symbolize growth and the nostalgia that lingers when we look back and reflect as we get older.
The amusement park was chosen as it visually represents life, the lives of the youth. The adrenaline and excitement that comes with waiting in line for a ride, going on the ride, the ups and downs of the ride; represent the feeling and moments of youth. Where we experience are hardest and happiest and loneliest and greatest moments in life that make us the people we grow into everyday.
Unfinished grid work or guidelines were deliberately added, in relation to the artists, to represent each member in the group and to emphasis the Japanese red ribbon theory where two people are destined to be together; that they are destined to find one another to become the people they are today and to make the memories of their youth with each member.
